Karlsruhe truly becomes a Christmas city during the Advent season: The “Christkindlesmarkt” will enchant visitors with its quaint and cosy atmosphere; Karlsruhe’s market square is illuminated by sparkly Christmas lights; and on Friedrichsplatz square visitors will find Christmas delicacies and exclusive arts and crafts items. “Flying Santa Claus” is soaring high above the crowd in his reindeer sleigh every night at 5 and 7pm; and a variety of events delight the whole family.
